Pears from the local region, France and Italy grown at altitudes of 300–800 m. Conditions at the foot of the Markgräflerland valleys are similarly favorable to those in the valleys of the Alps, meaning that an ever-growing proportion of our fruit comes directly from local farmers.
Nose: Intense and very fruity. Fully ripe, juicy Williams pears in the foreground are accompanied by traces of spice, such as mace, allspice, long pepper and fennel seeds, as well as the subtle scent of candied ginger.
Palate: Initially very mild and caressing, the full flavor of the ripe, juicy fruit soon emerges. With its lingering bouquet and prolonged hints of spice, the long-lasting aftertaste leaves a mild feel in the mouth.
